Long time ago I thought that the reason for the collocation "dead silence" is that there is no whisper in the presence of dead people and thus is the utmost of silence. But now I get to know a totallly different reason; it is the silence that makes many beautiful things die. Non related topic I know, but something in my mind I want to share. :-)
I Don`t know, I see the Silence that you have mentioned above is a danger weapon; while I still see that one must know when s/he should talk and when s/he should keep silent, But in this time it would not be a frightening Silence as the one mentioned in this terrifying movie ;-)
